2017 Gibson J-45 Standard Vintage Sunburst

Very good condition featuring slope shoulder dreadnought body, Sitka spruce top with scalloped X bracing and multiple bindings, mahogany back and sides with single binding, tortoiseshell grain pickguard, belly bridge with tusq saddle, LR Baggs VTC undersaddle pickup with internal volume and tone controls, mahogany neck with slim taper, rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, black nut, black peghead face with pearl Gibson logo inlay, multi-ply bell shaped truss rod cover, Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, Vintage Sunburst finish, nickel plated metal hardware, two metal strap buttons, and original black Gibson hard shell case (there are stickers on the exterior of the case). 

This J-45 is in very good cosmetic condition showing signs of playing wear throughout including scratches and dings on the top and back of the body (see photos). The guitar is set up in great playing order and the electronics work without issue. The Gibson J-45 is one of the most iconic models of all time and this example has been played a lot for good reason. As a strummer, the guitar offers a very even and balanced tone that would excel in the recording studio. Its clear and articulate tone make fingerpicking this guitar quite a successful venture. Furthermore, this guitar’s pickup system make it an ideal candidate for the stage. This is a versatile instrument that has the ability to be your main acoustic guitar for writing, stage, or studio.
