Excellent condition featuring double cutaway alder body with Olympic White finish, multi-ply white pearloid plastic pickguard, two single coil pickups and one Seymour Duncan Little '59 single coil size humbucking pickup, one volume control and one tone control with off-white Stratocaster knobs, five-way pickup selector switch, vintage style tremolo bridge with six individual adjustable bent steel saddles (tremolo bar not included), modern C shaped maple neck with walnut backstripe, maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, maple peghead with Fender, Stratocaster, and Made in USA logos, six in a line chrome sealed Fender stamped tuning machines, four bolt neck fastening plate with engraved Fender and Corona, California logos, multi-ply white pearloid plastic tremolo cavity plate, two metal strap buttons, and 1990s plastic molded Fender hard shell case. This guitar weighs 8lb even.
This American made Stratocaster is in excellent cosmetic condition. It sounds great and is set up exceptionally well with a very comfortable neck profile and a great feeling gloss fingerboard. The two original Fender single coil pickups sound excellent with a very bell like quality. A Seymour Duncan Little '59 humbucking pickup has been installed in the bridge position. This pickup adds versatility and sounds tremendous. All other electronics are stock. The white pearloid pickguard and tremolo cavity cover plate are replacements which look very nice paired with the Olympic White body finish. Fender no longer produces the American Standard Series and this particular guitar delivers all of the quintessential Strat goodness.
