This 2013 Taylor 314ce is in overall good cosmetic condition showing signs that it has been played extensively including one top crack (not all the way through, but cosmetically apparent), pick scratches, dings, and a side crack which appears to be solid (see photos). There is missing finish by the soundhole from pick wear and some scratches on the back and sides of the instrument. The neck is in good shape and has a very comfortable 1 3/4 inch nut width. The frets on this guitar do show some signs of play wear but nothing that’s a dealbreaker and should have plenty of life left in them. This instrument plays well up and down the fingerboard.
Although this guitar is heavily worn and used it does sound fantastic and is quite a bit warmer than a lot of Taylors I've played in the past. This guitar has vibe and a lived in feel. This Taylor is perfectly suitable for any type of live performance situation and definitely not a guitar that you would have to be extremely worried about scratching or knocking around! This instrument would also make a fine songwriting companion and it appears to have served someone well for a number of years. This is an exceptional American made Taylor flat top guitar for under $1000. You definitely can’t go wrong. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
