2013 Dean Z Chicago Flame Series Brazilia Burst

This 2013 Dean Z is excellent to near mint condition. This guitar is exceptionally clean and tidy and appears to have not been played too much at all and to have been extremely well cared for. This instrument is part of the Chicago Flame Series introduced in 2013 to recreate and pay homage to the original late 1970s Dean models. These instruments feature top notch build quality, fit and finish, electronics and hardware. This guitar features a bound mahogany body with string through construction paired with a killer looking flamed maple top and a Brazilia Burst finish. This guitar has a slim mahogany “V” shaped neck profile with a bound rosewood fingerboard and very nice abalone dot inlays. This neck feels excellent in the hand and is very comfortable and fast to play! The original jumbo frets are in immaculate condition and show virtually no play wear. This guitar has received a pro set up and it plays fantastic up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and excellent intonation. Both DiMarzio pickups sound amazing. The bridge pickup is the classic tried and true DiMarzio Super Distortion which delivers that quintessential tight scorching mid-range bite and the neck pickup is a DiMarzio 59 PAF that has a much more woody yet articulate and round tone that excels for clean tones and thick leads.
