This 2012 PRS P22 is in excellent condition and shows only extremely minor signs of play wear throughout. This instrument appears to have been very well cared for and is squeaky clean. This example is a “10 Top” and features a beautifully figured straight grained flamed maple top that is stunning in person and has plenty of “motion” in different light sources and angles. This guitar has a fantastic feeling PRS “Pattern Regular” neck profile that is very nice, rounded and medium chunky. This neck is super comfy and is extremely easy and fun to play! The fret wire on this guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little to no play wear. This PRS has been set up and it plays beautifully up and down the dark rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action and excellent intonation. The electronics in this instrument are original, have not been tampered with and are in perfect working order. This P22 features two amazing sounding PRS 53/10 humbucking pickups with exposed square bobbins. These pickups are incredibly clear, articulate and versatile and thanks to the 5 way selector switch, the tonal options are increased even further. The bridge pickup has a bright clear yet woody tone that sounds incredible with an overdriven amp and delivers just the right amount of mid range articulation and bite while the neck pickup has a much rounder fatter tone that still retains tons of clarity and excels for warm jazzy cleans and thick overdriven leads alike. The P22 also features a Piezo pickup system that is hands down the best sounding Piezo that I have experienced with any electric guitar. This PRS weighs 7lb 14oz. It is housed in its original PRS black rectangular hardshell case and includes its original paperwork and hangtag.
