This 2012 Epiphone Wildkat is in excellent cosmetic condition showing almost no signs of play wear throughout but just a little bit of tarnishing on the pickup covers - just an exceptionally clean guitar. The neck profile is noted as a slim taper “D” carve and it does feel nice in the hand - not too chunky but not overly slim. The frets show virtually no signs of play wear. This Wildkat has been set up and plays wonderfully up and down the fingerboard with low, very smooth action and great intonation. The dog ear P-90 pickups sound great. The bridge pickup has a very clear bite that sounds great for overdriven sounds and the neck pickup has a much warmer, rounder tone that maintains lots of clarity and sounds great for reverby clean sounds. The Bigsby tailpiece works smoothly and the locking bridge really makes string changes a snap. This instrument is housed in its original Epiphone hard shell case. These Wildkat guitars are cool. They blend vintage and modern specs together to create a unique, comfortable small semi-hollow bodied guitar with an array of tonal possibilities. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
