Excellent condition featuring double cutaway ash body with Butterscotch Blonde finish, single ply black pickguard, black plastic finger rest, one single coil 1951 style P Bass pickup, one volume control and one tone control with knurled dome top knobs mounted on elongated metal control plate cover, Precision Bass bridge with four individual adjustable brass barrel saddles, maple neck with walnut skunkstripe, maple fingerboard with black dot inlays starting at the third fret, maple '51 Precision Bass shaped peghead with vintage Squier, Fender and Precision Bass logos, four open back vintage style tuning machines with metal clover buttons, four bolt neck fastening plate with Squier and Fender engraving, and two metal strap buttons.
This Squier '51 Reissue P Bass is fun to play and has a very comfortable neck profile. The pickup sounds round and full and the Butterscotch Blonde finish is quite striking. This bass is extremely clean and doesn't appear to have any playing wear. It's been very well cared for over the past 10 years. Squier really hit a home run with this model by offering an affordable, quality bass with great classic Fender style. The Butterscotch Blonde finish is no longer an option on the current version of this model.
