This 2009 Fender American Standard Telecaster is in excellent cosmetic and playing condition. This guitar has been professionally set up with smooth low action. The lightweight body is resonant when played unplugged and sounds fantastic plugged into an amp. The three tone sunburst finish is very attractive and looks great with the replacement pearloid pickguard. The frets show light signs of use but are still full of life. There are some signs of play wear and light scratches on the back of the body (not through the finish). The strap buttons are replacement Schaller locking style buttons. The American Standard Series Fender guitars are no longer being produced and have always been well regarded as good quality workhorse instruments that will last for ages and this one is no exception. If you're looking for a high quality American made Fender Telecaster, this is a fantastic playing and sounding option.
