2008 Gibson Les Paul Traditional Plus

Very good condition featuring single cutaway one-piece mahogany body with cherry red stain finish, beautifully figured two-piece maple top with Ice Tea Sunburst finish, aged white binding on the top edge of the body, elevated cream single ply pickguard with chrome bracket, two humbucking pickups with cream colored plastic surrounds, two volume and two tone controls with gold speed knobs, three position toggle switch, stop tailpiece, Nashville tune-o-matic bridge, one-piece mahogany neck with cherry red stain finish, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, black headstock overlay with pearl Gibson logo inlay and screenprinted Les Paul Model logo, multi-ply bell shaped truss rod cover with Traditional engraving, Kluson Deluxe tuning machines with green keystone buttons, black plastic electronics control plate covers, two metal strap buttons, chrome plated metal hardware, and original black Gibson hard shell case (the case has a few rough edges - see photos). The bridge pickup cover is in the case as well as a black Rhythm and Treble poker chip, both of which are in great shape and could be installed. 

This 2008 first year Les Paul Traditional is an absolutely fantastic guitar weighing in at 9lbs 11oz. The guitar does show signs of play wear and has one small ding in the top on the edge of the body (see photos). The two-piece maple top has beautiful curl and looks great with the Ice Tea Sunburst finish. The pickups in this guitar have been changed to Brandonwound T-Tops. This guitar has a custom made wiring harness made by Ampturco Guitars. The electronics cavities, pickup cavities and switch cavity have been professionally shielded throughout and custom wired by CGW Guitarworks in Nashville, Tennessee. This Les Paul sounds absolutely incredible. The volume and tone controls are very interactive. The neck is a comfortable '59 style but smaller than some R9s. This is one of the better Les Paul Traditionals that I've played and I believe that during the first few years of production on this model Gibson paid closer attention to detail. If you're looking for an incredible sounding guitar with a great vibe, this Les Paul is for you.
