This 2008 Fender American Standard Stratocaster is in excellent cosmetic condition showing very few signs of play wear throughout with just a few scratches on the pickguard. The neck profile is that of a soft C shape and feels very good and comfortable in hand. The frets on this Stratocaster show some signs of play wear but have tons of life left in them and this guitar plays excellent up and down the fingerboard. The pickups have been upgraded to a set of Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials with cloth wiring which were professionally installed. These pickups sound fantastic and offer a rich bell like vintage tone that, in my opinion, are superior to the originals. They are very well-balanced and sound great in every position. The two point pivot tremolo system works extremely well and operates smoothly and the original tremolo bar is included. The tuning machines have been upgraded to a set of locking tuners which have been professionally installed and help keep this guitar's tuning rock solid. The Blizzard Pearl finish is very attractive and looks great paired with the rosewood fingerboard. This is an American professional grade instrument that is suitable for every application and will surely make someone a wonderful companion for years to come.
