Very good condition featuring double cutaway alder body with Wine Red finish, multi-ply white and black large pickguard, two Fender Precision Bass pickups, one volume control and one tone control with tall knurled steel barrel metal knobs, top loading Precision Bass bridge with four individual adjustable steel saddles, maple neck with walnut skunkstripe, rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays starting at the third fret, bone nut, enlarged maple Fender Precision Bass headstock with Fender block logo, Precision Bass logo, serial number and Made in Mexico, single round string tree, vintage style open back tuning machines with clover buttons, four bolt neck fastening plate, and two metal strap buttons.

This 2000 Fender Standard Series Precision Bass is in very good cosmetic condition and excellent playing condition. This bass has been professionally set up and plays well up and down the fretboard. There is a music store sticker on the back of the peghead and a circular Curtis Novak sticker on the back of the body and there are a few dings and scratches here and there (see photos). The neck profile is extremely comfortable and the rosewood fingerboard gives it a great feel. The pickups in this bass are capable of producing anything from rock and rhythm and blues to soul and sound fantastic. The Wine Red finish is getting to be uncommon these days and is quite attractive. This series is no longer in production by Fender and Standard Series models have long been known as killer instruments at good prices. A super solid 21 year old P Bass.
