1997 Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee Signature Blue Pearl
This Ernie Ball Music Man Albert Lee Signature is in very good condition. This guitar shows signs of play wear and age throughout including some pick scratches on the pickguard and body, some dings around the body edges, some play wear on the maple fingerboard, play wear on the back of the neck, and a ding on the back of the neck. The tremolo cavity cover and tremolo bar are missing in action. This guitar has been well played but is fully functional and feels like an old worn in glove! Someone definitely loved this instrument and for good reason - it’s a killer guitar.
This Music Man features a small yet chunky rounded birds eye maple neck that feels amazing and is super easy and fun to play. This neck is quite ergonomic and just begs to be played! The original fret wire on this guitar is in good condition showing some play wear, but is still tall and the frets have plenty playing time left in them. This guitar plays like a dream up and down the worn maple fingerboard with killer action, excellent feeling string tension and great intonation. The electronics are original, have been cleaned and are in great working order. All three single coils sound incredible and deliver nice glassy yet punchy tones that are perfectly suitable for country, chicken pickin', rock, clean reverb drenched tones, surf and blues. This guitar is pretty versatile and I’ve had a pretty good time “test driving” it since it arrived at the shop! This guitar also features the Music Man “Silent Circuit” that eliminates 60 cycle hum and is operated by a 9V battery. The pickups are passive and if you would rather run a classic style setup, just remove the battery.
If you are looking for a really great, well worn 1990s Music Man guitar or just a killer playing, feeling and sounding guitar, this Albert Lee is a standout! This guitar weighs 7lb, is housed in its original molded hardshell case and will ship out promptly and securely from our little shop here in Tennessee to your front door!
