This 25 year old Fender Standard Series Stratocaster is in very good cosmetic condition with some pick scratches here and there and some moderate play wear (see photos). The pickguard and pickup covers are replacements made by WD that look great on this guitar by giving it a completely blacked out look. The electronics are original and have not been tampered with. This guitar sounds good when plugged in and is more than capable of nailing all kinds of different Stratocaster tones. The neck profile is a very comfortable C shape and feels great in hand. The frets show only a slight bit of wear and have plenty of life left. The back tremolo cavity cover plate is missing. The Standard Series is no longer being produced by Fender and these instruments have always been sought out for their solid build quality, great playability and affordable price point. If you're looking for a fine guitar at a more than reasonable price, don’t look past this 1996 Standard Series Strat.
