Excellent condition featuring double cutaway alder body with black finish, multi-ply white and black plastic pickguard, two Fender Jazz Bass pickups, two volume and one tone control with white parchment Stratocaster style knobs, Fender Jazz Bass bridge with four fully adjustable individual barrel saddles, maple neck with walnut skunkstripe, rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays starting at the third fret, maple Fender Jazz Bass headstock with black block Fender logo, Jazz Bass logo, serial number and Made in Mexico, one round string tree, four open back vintage style tuning machines with clover buttons, four bolt neck fastening plate, and two metal strap buttons.
This Standard Series Jazz Bass looks great cosmetically with some play wear here and there. It plays and sounds terrific with a very comfortable neck profile. The Fender Standard Series offered excellent affordable instruments and this one is no exception. This is a very solid 25 year old bass.
