1995 Epiphone Les Paul Standard Cherry Sunburst

Good condition featuring single cutaway two piece mahogany body with cherry red stain finish, two piece figured maple top with cherry sunburst finish, bound top edges (thin through the cutaway), two Epiphone humbucking pickups with cream colored plastic pickup surrounds, two volume controls and two tone controls with amber colored bonnet knobs, three-way pickup selector switch (missing plastic tip) with single ply cream plastic Rhythm and Treble selector ring, stop tailpiece and ABR-1 style wired tune-o-matic bridge with six individual adjustable steel saddles, set mahogany neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid trapezoid inlays starting at the third fret, white plastic nut, Epiphone peghead shape, black peghead face with pearloid Epiphone logo and gold printed Les Paul Model logo, multi-ply bell shaped truss rod cover with Gibson engraving, three per side vintage Kluson style tuning machines with green keystone plastic buttons, serial number and Made in Korea printed on the back of the peghead, single ply black plastic electronics cavity control plate and switch cover plate, two metal strap buttons and Epiphone branded black Tolex covered hard shell case with grey plush interior. This guitar weighs 8lb 6oz.

This 1995 Epiphone Les Paul Standard is in good cosmetic condition showing some scratches, dings, corrosion of the hardware and overall play wear throughout (see photos). The neck profile on this instrument is that of a nice semi-chunky C shape with larger shoulders and a flatter center. It is very comfortable and feels great in hand. The frets show very minimal wear and have tons of life lest in them. This guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and good intonation. The humbucking pickups in this guitar sound good in every position and are very well balanced together. Epiphone Les Pauls have always been a great affordable way to get into a classic single cut solidbody and offer a great value proposition that truly shines above its price point.
