1995 Dobro Model 36 The Rose Roundneck

Excellent condition featuring symmetrical 14" brass body with two f-holes and floral engravings, biscuit cone, metal tailpiece, round neck with sunburst finish, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays starting at the fifth fret, sunburst peghead with Dobro logo, white Dobro embossed truss rod cover, Grover Mini-Rotomatic tuning machines, and strap button endpin. 

This Dobro Model 36 is in excellent cosmetic condition showing normal play wear and some minor swirl marks on the body from being cleaned over the past 27 years. This is a fantastic resonator guitar that has all the tone you would expect from the model. The guitar has a round, fat tone but still cuts through the mix perfectly. The set up of the instrument is ideal for slide play though it could be set up lower if one desired. As a slide instrument, the guitar delivers in a big way. Tuned in open D, the instrument thunders with a slide and is a blast to play. Whether you are playing traditional blues or atmospheric soundtrack ideas, this guitar sounds great.
