1994 Ampeg VL-1002 100 Watt Amplifier Head

This 1994 Ampeg VL-1002 amplifier head is in excellent condition. This head shows only minor wear and is overall exceptionally tidy. This amplifier has been gone through by our amp tech and it is running tip top. This series of Ampeg amps was designed by the legendary amp guru Lee Jackson and were built like tanks in St. Louis, Missouri. This VL-1002 sounds awesome and, in my opinion, sounds like a beefed up JCM800. This amp has loads of gain, tight bottom end and plenty of mid range cut. A perfect amp for classic rock, vintage metal, heavy blues and just about anything else on the rock n roll spectrum that you can throw at it. This is a very fine example at a very reasonable price!
