1990 Yamaha BB5000A 5 String Bass Cream White

Excellent condition featuring neck through body construction, double cutaway alder body, EMG active electronics, volume, mix, bass, and treble controls with black plastic knobs, five-string Low Mass bridge, three-piece maple and mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard with oval mother of pearl inlays starting at the first fret, bone nut, 1 13/16" nut width, two string trees, black Yamaha and BB5000A headstock logos, Cream White finish with matching peghead, gold plated metal hardware, and original Yamaha black rectangular hard shell case. 

This rare BB5000A is set up in fantastic playing order and sounds tremendous. The electronics on this bass are EMG active pickups that we believe to be professionally added as we've never seen this pickup configuration on this model before. That being said, there is not a lot of information out there about the BB5000A. This bass has incredible low end and sustain and the action is buttery smooth.
