Very good condition featuring double cutaway solid contoured basswood body with Polar White finish, three oversized Ibanez single coil pickups, five way toggle switch, one volume and one tone control with original Ibanez gold knobs, multi-ply white/black/white pickguard, Ibanez fully adjustable tremolo bridge, maple neck with walnut backstripe, dark rosewood fingerboard with medium jumbo frets and small mother of pearl dot inlays, black headstock overlay with gold metallic Ibanez and Roadstar II Series logos, Ibanez neck fastening plate inscribed with serial number and Made In Japan, and padded gig bag.
This first year of issue Roadstar II is an amazing player with low, comfortable action and flat thin neck profile. The frets are in great condition. The tuners on this guitar are replacement chrome six in a line locking tuners that work incredibly well. The electronics have been rewired and one volume pot has been removed (there is a sticker over the pickguard hole) and a mini-toggle switch has been removed (there is a screw in the pickguard hole). See photos. The guitar is now set up with its original configuration - one master volume and one master tone control. The large string tree on the peghead has been removed and replaced with two barrel style string trees. The quality of this Ibanez far surpasses other guitars in the same price range. This guitar was well loved by its previous owner (for good reason), has lots of life left in it and is ready to be further enjoyed.
