This 1977 Takamine F-395MS is in overall good vintage cosmetic condition and is set up in good playing order with a medium/tall saddle height, a fully functional truss rod and fairly low string action. It's very easy to play. There are two top cracks located below the bridge (see photos) that have been previously repaired and seem to be pretty solid. There is also a crack beside the fingerboard extension on the bass side that runs beside the pickguard. There are signs of play wear throughout and the bridge pins are mismatched. The bridge is lifting slightly (see photos) and could be repaired if desired. The frets are in good shape and appear to have been dressed at some point. This Takamine clearly took its “inspiration” from the Guild F series 12 strings. These are actually pretty hard to come across and were not produced for long in this configuration because of the multiple lawsuits they received for their blatant “inspiration.” This guitar was built in Japan and is a very serviceable 12 string for home, stage or studio. These models are also becoming quite collectible these days. A gem of a guitar shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
