This 1977 Kramer 450B is in excellent vintage cosmetic condition and shows few little signs of play wear throughout. The neck profile has a medium D shape and feels really nice in the hand. The frets show almost no signs of play wear and have tons of life left in them. This instrument plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with great action. The neck on this particular example is in very nice condition and is very straight. The majority of these that I’ve encountered recently have had delaminating necks and have not played well, but this one is in terrific shape and plays very well! The Kramer single coil pickups both work as intended and sound good. The wiring harness is untouched and is exceptionally tidy inside and the pots have a code of 1377732 indicating that these components were made by CTS on the 32nd week of 1977. This instrument is housed in its original hard shell case (the handle is not attached - see photos). This 450B was purchased new by the original owner and it was very well cared for over the past 45 years. If you are looking for one of these models, this is the cleanest one I’ve come across in years and should definitely be on your watch list. A gem of a bass shipped out safely and promptly from our little shop here in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
