1973 Fender Princeton Reverb Amp
Near mint condition featuring silver face plate with Princeton Reverb logo and trim in blue, black Tolex covering, 14 watts of power, two instrument inputs, original Fender 10" speaker, red jewel light, rubberized black handle, silver metallic grill cloth with Fender no tail logo, Volume, Treble, Bass, Reverb, Speed, and Intensity controls with original Fender knobs, and original Fender Vibrato/Reverb footswitch.
This 1973 Fender Princeton Reverb is the cleanest example we've seen in years. The amp shows hardly any signs of wear and even has the original string from the hangtag attached to the handle. The Tolex is in tip top shape. The silver face and grill cloth are vibrant and tidy. The speaker, transformers and reverb tank are original as well as the reverb tank cover and all are in fantastic working order and cosmetic condition. The output transformer is dated to the 23rd week of 1973. The RCA power tubes also appear to be vintage (age unknown). The plug has been changed to a modern three-prong for added ground and safety. The original foot switch is in great working and cosmetic condition.
This amp has been gone through recently and is in flawless working order. It sounds absolutely incredible. The Princeton Reverb amplifier has always been a staple for the gigging musician and for studio use. This is a great grab and go amplifier and, especially in this condition, is also extremely collectable.
