1965 Silvertone 1476 Bobkat

This 1965 Silvertone 1476 Bobkat is in excellent condition. The body has been refinished white, a new pickguard was made for it and the tuners have been replaced. All the work that was performed was done exceptionally well and the guitar looks and plays incredible! This Bobkat has a really chunky maple neck with fat rounded profile that feels great in the hand. The original frets are in great shape. The fret wire has been dressed and has lots of life left. This guitar has received a pro set up and it plays excellent up and down the rosewood fingerboard with comfortable action. This guitar also stays in tune really well and just feels super solid all the way around. The electronics have been cleaned, are in excellent working order and both original pickups sound fantastic! This instrument excels for Hill Country blues, snotty garage rock, quirky hillbilly pickin' and a variety of roots based music.
