1961 Fender Duo Sonic Desert Sand Refin

This 1961 Fender Duo Sonic is in excellent vintage condition. The body of this guitar has been professionally refinished with a killer looking “Desert Sand” nitro finish and the neck has been oversprayed. The peghead logo is original and other than the refin, the rest of the instrument is original throughout. 

This Duo Sonic features a short scale slim rounded neck profile that is comfortable and fun to play. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard has been professionally refretted with the correct size fret wire and it has received a pro set up so this Duo Sonic plays fabulous up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. These Duo Sonics can be pretty hit or miss in the playing department, but this one absolutely kills - No dead spots, buzzing or fretting out! A truly great player. The electronics are original, have been cleaned and are in perfect working order. Both original pickups sound amazing and have a strong output.
