1960s Airline Flat Top Sunburst

This 1960s Airline flat top is in good vintage condition. This cool little guitar shows signs of play wear and age throughout including some cracked binding on the back of the guitar, some pick scratches, some small dings throughout and the bridge is lifting slightly on the bass side corner. These bridges are actually screwed directly onto the top so it’s not a huge deal and pretty much all of these I’ve ever seen have the same issue. This guitar has a slim bolt on neck that is comfortable in the hand and pretty easy to play. The frets are in good shape and have plenty of life left in them with no major dents or divots. This guitar plays well up and down the fingerboard with low to medium action - it could benefit from a neck shim and some nut work, but it does play far better than the majority of these models we've seen through the years. This guitar sounds pretty fantastic and has a very nice dry thumpy woody tone with a surprising amount of volume. This is a pretty awesome affordable vintage flat top with loads of vibe and a pretty inspiring tone.
