1993 Charvel by Jackson CST-070-SSS Super Strat Transparent Blue Burst Japan
This 1993 Charvel CST-070 is in very good cosmetic condition and is in excellent playing order. The guitar shows signs of age and play wear throughout including some pick scratches on the pickguard, some tarnishing of the gold metal hardware and one dime sized ding on the top forearm area of the body (see photos), but is overall in great shape and with a very vibrant trans blue burst finish. This guitar was built in Japan, is of superb quality and sports a killer looking nicely figured ash body, a one piece maple neck and a nicely colored rosewood fingerboard. The neck on this guitar feels incredible in the hand and has a medium/thin C shaped profile that is built for speed and is just super fun to play. The original frets are in exceptional condition and show almost no signs of play wear. We just gave this old Charvel a pro set up here in the shop and it plays amazing up and down the fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. There are no dead spots or buzzes - it’s just a dynamite player! The original electronics have been cleaned and are in perfect working order and all thee original Jackson J200 stacked single coil pickups sound phenomenal. This guitar delivers some tight aggressive tones when plugged into a high gain amplifier, but also sounds incredible for jazzy clean tones and definitely has a distinct Strat like quack tone in the 2 and 4 positions. Just a great sounding instrument. These don’t pop up for sale too often and are some seriously finely built guitars. This example weighs 9lb and is housed in a gig bag.
