1970 Ampeg GU-12 1x12 20 Watt Combo Amp

This 1970 Ampeg GU-12 amp is in very good vintage cosmetic condition and is in excellent working order. Ampeg states that these amps were 20 watts, but I believe they are more like 15-18 watts. This example is original with the exception of the filter caps. This Ampeg has been recently serviced, operates perfectly and sounds righteous! This is an angry little fellow that delivers some gloriously complex saturated bliss! Paired with the original 12” speaker and the “Dimension” Echo effect, you can dial this little thing in to sound huge! There are two channels - Bright and Normal - and they both sound killer. Dialed back, this amp also excels and it takes pedals pretty great as well. This is a really bitchin' grab and go vintage combo amp.
