This brand new guitar from Rivolta features chambered mahogany body, German carve top with raised center block, bound top and back, three Rivolta Fumante mini-humbucking pickups, double switching, one volume control and one tone control with small black reflector top knobs, Nashville tunomatic bridge, gold Plexi pickguard, set maple neck, bound ebony fingerboard with aged pearloid block inlays and medium jumbo frets, bound peghead with Rivolta logo, Kluson Deluxe vintage style tuners with small oval metal buttons, black triangular truss rod cover, Toro Black finish, nickel plated metal hardware, and padded gray Rivolta gig bag.
The Mondata VIII is a spectacular design from world renowned instrument designer and builder Dennis Fano. This guitar has been expertly set up by the Novo Guitars crew in Nashville and the fret work is meticulous. This guitar is slightly reminiscent of Fano's JM6 model but with a carved top. The gold Plexi pickguards and Ice Blue Metallic finish are extremely attractive. The C+ neck profile feels incredible in hand and plays flawlessly up and down the fingerboard. The Nashville tunomatic bridge and stop tailpiece give this guitar a rock solid feel with strengthened tuning stability and intonation. This particular guitar is very resonant unplugged and rings like a bell plugged in. The three Fumante mini-humbuckers sound excellent independently and combined with one another. These pickups are very well balanced. The two three-position toggle switches give you tons of different tonal variations making this guitar exceptionally versatile and unique. The tonal qualities combined with the amazing playability make this guitar easily one of our favorite new guitars available today.
