Excellent condition featuring double cutaway contoured alder body with Shell Pink finish, three Fender Player Series single coil pickups with white covers, one volume control and two tone controls with white skirted knobs, five way pickup selector switch with white plastic tip, multi-ply tortoiseshell grain beveled edge pickguard, pointed oval shaped output jack plate mounted to the front treble side of the body, two point tremolo bridge with six individual adjustable bent steel saddles, bolt on maple neck with walnut skunk stripe, medium jumbo frets and black dot inlays starting at the third fret, one string tree, small Stratocaster peghead shape with Fender spaghetti logo and Stratocaster logo, six in a line sealed Fender stamped tuning machines, serial number, Made in Mexico, Fender 75 and Fender Special Edition logos on the back of the headstock, four bolt neck fastening plate with F stamp, multi-ply tortoiseshell grain tremolo cavity cover plate, and two metal strap buttons. This guitar weighs 8lb 4oz.
This 2021 Fender Special Edition Player Stratocaster is in excellent condition. This guitar has some very faint pick scratches on the pickguard and one extremely tiny ding on the top of the guitar in the forearm area. Otherwise this instrument appears to have been played very little and is exceptionally clean. This Stratocaster features a nice feeling Fender Modern C neck profile that is medium sized with a rounded back. This neck is extremely comfortable to play. It has a light satin finish on the back of the neck and a polyurethane finished fingerboard. The medium jumbo frets on this instrument show no signs of play wear and look new. This instrument has been set up and it plays fantastic up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation.
The Player Series Fender single coil pickups sound excellent and deliver a crystal clear articulate tone that shines through a clean amp and also excels with overdriven sounds. This guitar nails those “in between quack” tones when placed into the 2nd and 4th positions. This is a very good sounding Stratocaster! The Shell Pink finish is extremely well done and looks very attractive paired with the tortoiseshell grain pickguard. If you are after a great playing and sounding Strat in one of the coolest color options, this Player Series example might just hit the spot.
