This 2018 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 is in excellent cosmetic condition showing almost no signs of play wear throughout. This instrument features a satin finish from the factory and there is a little bit of shine on the treble side of the top from where the previous owner's pinky would rest. The neck profile is the pattern thin and it really feels fantastic in the hand with just enough roundness - just an extremely comfortable neck. The frets on this Custom 24 show virtually no signs of play wear and this guitar plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The PRS 85/15 pickups sound terrific and deliver loads of articulate and snappy tones that excel with a clean or dirty amp setting. The PRS tremolo functions smoothly (the trem arm is included) and stays in tune well, especially paired with the PRS locking tuners. This guitar features a “10” top as is indicated by the 10 written on the back of the peghead. “10” is the highest rating that PRS gives their maple tops and the quilted maple on this example is superbly figured and looks stunning with the Charcoal Cherry Burst finish.
