This 2010 Fender American Standard Telecaster is in excellent, squeaky clean condition! This instrument appears to have been played very little and and looks virtually new. The pickguard is a replacement but it fits like a glove and still has the protective film on it. The switch tip has been replaced with a knurled metal one that looks pretty cool, in my opinion.

This Telecaster has an excellent feeling medium C shaped neck profile that is quite comfortable and easy to play. The frets on this guitar show no play wear and this guitar has been professionally set up and plays outstanding up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation. The original pickups sound stellar in this instrument and deliver great sounding, snappy, clear, articulate tones. This Telecaster excels with a clean Fender amp and just sounds quintessential. Through a dirty amplifier, this guitar also shines and is quite capable of holding its own for anything from country to rock to rhythm and blues. Fender no longer produces the American Standard series. These have always been well regarded as solid, American made workhorse instruments and this one is absolutely no exception.
