1967 Fender Bassman Amp Head

Excellent condition featuring 50 watts of power, matched Sovtek 6L6 power tubes, 12AX7 preamp tubes, Bass instrument channel with two inputs and “Deep” switch, Normal channel with two inputs and “bright” switch, black aluminum faceplate with white text, original black plastic skirted control knobs, red jewel light, protective steel corner caps on the bottom corners, original grill cloth, Fender with “tail” logo on the left side of the baffle board, original black rubberized handle, two speaker outputs on the rear panel along with the power and standby switches, serial number impressed into the rear of the chassis, tube chart located inside the cabinet and original black Tolex covering. 

This 1967 Fender Bassman is in excellent vintage cosmetic condition. The Tolex covering is very clean. There is light rust on the metal corner caps and chassis straps. This amp has been recently serviced and is in perfect working order. A three prong power cable has been professionally installed for safe operation. All transformers are original and date to the 17th, 18th and 30th week of 1967. The volume pot on the “Normal” channel is a replacement that dates to 1997. All other potentiometers are original and have a visible code of 1376644 indicating that these components were made by CTS on the 44th week of 1966. This faceplate has the “Fender Musical Instruments” text underneath the Bassman Amp logo. This amp sounds tremendous and will provide its new owner with many years of faithful service.
