2009 National NRP Steel Tricone 12 Fret Roundneck Black

Excellent condition featuring steel body, tricone resonator, metal tailpiece, round 12-fret maple neck, rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays starting at the fifth fret, slotted headstock with National logo, bone nut, 1.82" nut width, three on a strip tuning machines with white oval plastic buttons, black finish, and original National hard shell case (stickers on exterior - see photos).

This National NRP Tri-Cone is an excellent example of the model. The playability of this instrument is superb and it excels in many styles of play. As a blues instrument, this NRP performs exceptionally well as a slide guitar. The instrument is also works quite well in standard Spanish style play. From ragtime to Delta Blues, this guitar has it covered. This being said, the guitar is not limited to blues music and performs quite well on many folk applications. The guitar also cuts wonderfully as a lead instrument and has the volume to stand out in the mix. It is important to note the instrument does have minor finish adhesion issues at the heel of the neck (see photos). This finish adhesion issue is purely cosmetic and does not interfere with the functionality of the instrument in any way. If you are looking for a great sounding and playing National, this guitar is ready to go.
