Excellent condition and in perfect working order with original box. There are four pieces of Velcro on the bottom but the pedal is otherwise very clean (see photos).
From the builder: "The Protein is a dual overdrive with excellent stacking capabilities and lots of tonal options. It requires a center negative 9VDC power supply supplying at least 500mA. Any Boss PSA, 1 Spot, or high quality power supply meeting those specs should work great. The blue side (left side) is a lower gain overdrive with lots of headroom and tons of output. It stacks well with other drive/fuzz pedals and we recommend using the Protein last in your chain of drives so that you can find multiple flavors combining with the blue side. We recommend starting with the blue side controls all at noon or straight up. The green side (right side) is a slightly higher gain drive with a little more compression and it stands out well in a mix. It's great for leads and crunchy rhythms. We recommend starting with the level at 1 o'clock, the tone at noon, and the gain at 11 o'clock. These settings are great on their own and stack really well together. These settings apply when using a mostly clean amp. As always, use your ears, experiment, and find what works best for you."
