From Fowl Sounds: Based off a modern legend, the Sonic Bronchitis is a pedal that clips its own power amp (LM386) to create amp-like distortion. With a JFET pre-amp stage, your signal gets boosted and clipped by the front end of the power amp. These two stages create tube like overdrive with lots of dynamics, clarity and grit. Depending on your picking style, pickups and gain settings, you can go from warm bluesy overdrive to full blown Armageddon. Frequency response can be toggled between guitar and bass. We have also added a blend circuit that allows you to mis in the original signal with the drive signal.
